| 이 새규정은 현재 뉴질랜드에 거주하고 있는 시민도 최근 마지막으로 호주를 출국하기 직전에 SCV를 소지하고 있었던 경우에도 해당됨 | |
| 2023년7월1일 또는 그 이후에 호주에서 출생하는 SCV 소지자 자녀들은 출생시 호주 시민권을 자동적으로 취득하게 되어 호주 시민권 증서를 신청할 수 있게 됨 |
